Cape Canaveral Off-Road

We stopped at Black Point Wildlife Trail to check out the area and do some sight seeing.

The drive took us some time because there are some places to do some trail walking. Great please to do some bird watching. After some time, the kids did get a little antsy so we continued instead of stopping. We also took a 0.5 mile trail walk, Oak and Palm Hammock Trails, which is where we find the train tracks. Easy trail for the kids and they got to see native orange trees!

That‘s when we started going down some off road trails on Courtenay Pkwy. Trails all made a loop back to Courtenay Pkwy and wasn’t too crazy. Our 4Runnwe made it through a lot of it with just 2WD. They did have some great camping sites!

We then wanted to see how the boat ramps looks like and ended up on the fishing trail on Biolab Rd, which ends in the Canaveral National Seashore.

Great place to fish and not have a lot of people around you.

You can easily spend a night here and check out the surrounding trails. If you time it right, you might see a rocket launch!!
